Welcome to Central United Church!

Our next Sunday Service is September 24th, 2017.

Sunday, October 1st - World Wide Communion Sunday

Sunday, October 8th - Thanksgiving Sunday Service

Our Service starts at 10:30 am and Everyone is Welcome!


Central United's Yard Sale is happening on Saturday, September 30th from

9:00 am to 2:00 pm & Sunday, October 1st from noon to 2:00 pm.


Our Study Groups start up in October:

Wednesday, October 11th at 11:00 am - "Living the Questions" Study Group

Friday, October 13th at 10:00 am - 1st Fall meeting of our "Adult Study Group"


Workshop for Remit #6 - "One Order of Ministry" will be held on Sunday, November 12th,

immediately following Sunday Service.

Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring a bag lunch.

In preparation for this workshop, it would be very helpful if you read the study material.

To this end, copies of this material will be available in the church office. You can also

read the study material online. Please see the Remits link on the church website.

Minister of Music position:


In the beautiful UNESCO world heritage town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia,

Central United Church is seeking a Minister of Music.

The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment with the Minister,

musicians within the church, members of the congregation,

and visiting musicians to lead all musical aspects of worship. 

We have an enthusiastic, gifted choir and musical community. 

Music is highly regarded within Central United Church,

and the Minister of Music has a key role to promote and enhance this part of our spiritual journey.

RCCO standard salary.
